4. PAYMENT OF FAIR PRICE

    Fair Price means, provision of socially acceptable remuneration considered by the employee themselves and the Government as well. It takes into account the principle of equal pay for equal work by women and men. Teddy Exports also gives importance in capacity building of employees to enable them to set a fair price.

     Teddy Exports adheres to the UN convention on the Rights of the Child, and National/Local law on the employment of children. The organization ensures that there is no forced labor in its workforce and / or members or homeworkers.

With the certification standard for Social Accountability all the employees are given appropriate Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) and Awareness Training periodically.     Teddy Exports develop specific activities to help the staff improve their occupational skills and production capabilities. Being continuously a successful trader with customers from UK, Australia and USA, a selected group of employees are given adequate training to develop their English communication skills. Frequent visits to the suppliers, factories are organized for the Managerial staff to acquire more knowledge and update their professional know how.

    Teddy Exports employees are given awareness of the aims of Fair Trade and educating them on the needs of greater justice worldwide trade through Fair trade principles.     Teddy Exports always use the raw materials from sustainably managed sources for the production ranges. Production technologies followed with keen interest to reduce energy consumption. Our own wind mill also catering to the needs of Electrical energy requirements. Pollution control certification from the Government Bodies is obtained for Air and Water. Tree plantations ensure eco- friendly environment.
